Deadline for applications: May 24ᵗʰ, 2022

We are glad to announce that ATBC2022 will provide multiple funds for travel, registration and membership for students or recent graduates (< 2 year after graduation) from low and middle income countries. These funds will be offered by ATBC, the Evans-Meggers funds and Universidad del Rosario.  The Evans-Meggers funds will exclusively support women from Latin America. If you are interested in participating, please read the guidelines carefully and complete the information below. The deadline to submit your application is May 24ᵗʰ and we will announce the results by June 6ᵗʰ.

 

 

 

GUIDELINES

  • Selection will focus on the justification of why the funds are needed to attend the ATBC2022 Meeting.

  • Essays can be written in English or Spanish

  • Applications will be evaluated by a committee composed by members of the Local and Scientific Committees of ATBC2022.

  • Note that these grants are for in-person attendees with accepted abstracts, only.

  • The ATBC and the Evans-Meggers travel funds can be used to cover registration and/or travel expenses. These awards will not exceed US$500 per person. Additional grants from ATBC and Universidad del Rosario will cover registration fees. Lastly, ATBC will also offer membership waivers. These different awards will be assigned by the evaluation committee, based on the quality of the application.

  • IMPORTANT: The ATBC and Evans-Meggers travel awards will be processed as travel reimbursements and awardees will receive their funds after the ATBC2022 meeting is over. To get reimbursed, awardees must sign a form at the conference, and show receipts of their expenses.

  • You can apply even if you have already paid for registration. If you get a registration award, we will issue a reimbursement.

  • ATBC membership: You can apply without being a member, but to receive the award, membership is required.
