Call for Student Fellowships

The Organizing Committee of the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation offers a limited number of registration-waiver grants for students to attend this year’s meeting. Undergraduate and graduate students (active or graduated within the last two years) with a submitted contribution in the meeting, are encouraged to apply. The grants will cover registration fees.
Applicants must submit here the following requirements:

Motivations, expressing three or more specific goals you would like to achieve by attending ATBC 2021 and how you plan to achieve them (400 words max).

CV or resumé (maximum three pages)

Two recommendation letters (one from a primary advisor and another from a different professional mentor)

Proof of student status or recent graduation (not more than two years)
Grant selection criteria will be based on:

Quality of the abstract (contribution in symposia and lightning talks)

Content of the documents mentioned above.

Balance of geographic origin and gender

Applicants will be notified of the Organizing Committee's decision by xxxx. Non-beneficiaries will be able to pay the early bird registration fee until xxxx.
Should any unforeseen circumstances prevent a grant recipient from attending the meeting, he/she must notify the Organizing Committee immediately so that the grant can be awarded to another applicant.
